Three UCCS lists, read together

The graduate NP list names 14 states, the RN to BSN list adds seven more, and the campus BSN takes Colorado residents. UCCS's licensure disclosure is a separate document about whether the curriculum meets each state's education rules, and it is not an admission list.

Questions UCCS students ask

Which states can UCCS NP students live in?

Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Wyoming. UCCS says all clinical hours and coursework must be completed within these states.

What if I move during the program?

UCCS defines residency as physical location and says a move may keep a student from finishing or from getting an NP license in the new state. Check first. See moving during the program.

Can I do hours in a state other than where I live?

Only with approval from the Graduate Clinical Practicum Coordinator, only in states on UCCS's list, and with the right RN license for that state. The license guide covers it.
